Train to Teach Yoga to the highest standards
Train to teach yoga with me and you will be assured of the highest standard of teaching, fully supported through your learning journey. All aspects of the course delivery and your learning journey are quality assured by the British Wheel of Yoga - the National Governing Body for Yoga in England. Read on to see if this will be your course!
This 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training Diploma is regulated by Ofqual (the UK government department that regulates qualifications). It meets national educational standards as a Level 4 diploma, equivalent to an HNC (higher national certificate) or the first year of a foundation degree. It is the highest level of yoga teacher training possible in the UK.
The Course is set out in a number of units and you will learn to teach many key asanas, breathing practices, deep relaxation, pranayama, and meditation. You will also learn yoga philosophy and how to weave that into your yoga classes. At all stages of the course you will practice teaching in a comfortable environment with your peers. At each stage of the course there are informal and formal assessments. By the end of the first year of the Diploma course you will be supported and insured, through your BWY student teacher membership, to set up your own yoga classes.

“I highly recommend Tracy's BWY course. I loved learning more about the philosophy of yoga and establishing a confident home practice. I also made some fantastic friends. Since the course ended, I've continued reading and exploring certain aspects that we covered, further deepening my knowledge. It's given me a feeling of emotional depth when I practice yoga which I didn't experience before, a more well-rounded understanding of the benefits of practice, and also a feeling that I am on an important life journey with yoga which is both exciting and calming! Tracy, as you all know, is an excellent teacher, so knowledgeable and caring. I greatly valued her patience and guidance throughout the course and beyond.”
Theresa, BWY Foundation Course 1 Graduate.
