Ultimately yoga soothes my soul. I carry a mind that constantly buzzes with thoughts, sleep filled with vivid dreams and visual memories caused by a scent in the air. For me this happens every day, yet, when I practise yoga all my energies are focused on positive internalisations - the stretch of a muscle deep in my leg, the movement of my breath inside my body, the sensations in the tips of my fingers and toes, my lower back as I fold.
Yoga helps me find the pause in my life, an interlude that reveals the good, the kind and the valuable in me and in others. For me Yoga is a gift that keeps giving.
